Is it a budget for a department or one person's salary?

I think we've had enough of the "adult" supervision. It's costing us more to have this control board then the inept legislators .

This is a job that could save more money than it costs to pay the person.

From the title it sounds like a common sense job, how much space do we have and how better can we fit people and functions within it.

My only real gripe is that it's a 'permanant' position. Why can't we just hire someone on contract to do it? This to me doesn't sound like a perpetual job.

I believe they are talking about the head of the control board. I recall reading about one person who received a huge salary for taking on the job....Or I am I thinking about the buffalo control board... One of them anyhow...

I think they need more adult supervision........... They need to keep going until property taxes are within reason. The fact they are admitting something needs to be done means there is a huge problem coming just around the corner.... This area will have a complete melt down within 3-7 years unlss something is not done...

The County has a department called "Buildings and Grounds". No one there could decide how to move some desks around?

When are the taxpayers of Buffalo and Erie County going to finally get it? These control boards are about control and patronage. The people who serve on these boards want to control the direction of local government with out the consent of the voter and taxpayer. The staff is nothing but high paid patronage appointees. The very kind of jobs the taxpayer thinks the control boards are there to eliminate.
    Ironic, isn't it?
Buffalo is the best. Almost two million dollars a year to operate a control board in a city with a $117,000,000.00 budget surplus.
There's a sucker born every minute and they all live in WNY.

By the way, what happened to biker? I miss the old coot.

I'll bet it goes to a Republican. Where's Cris Collins when you need him?
