Day to day would be a tie between SM & SS - "we do it for the community, not the money". But in longevity, the always full of himself DW is up there.

SS's comments come out of insecurity more than ego. I would say there is a two-way tie between BW and GM for the biggest ego. That said, I think that the ones most hurt politically by their egos would be: SM, SS and eventually GM.

I agree. GM has a really outsized ego. Shelly is very insecure.

I am getting concerned on what direction GM is taking. I find it quite odd how a council person can make such changes to this yrs budget (removing money from department budgets) w/o the Super or his Deputy's input until the TB meeting. $877,000 is a lot of $$$$$. Maybe I am just paranoid.

This is a bunch of micro-managing tinkering. They will need to restore a lot of that money, which is needed to pay bills from November and December. That just adds unnecessarily to the workload. Department heads have a lot more busywork since both Mohan and Marlette came. This is time NOT being devoted to their real work and the public.

Yes. And were the department heads consulted? Or just the TE, who seems to have a lot of clout right now.

    The Biggest Ego of all

without a doubt if you ruun for office, you have to have some level of Ego...But the biggest ego of all time is Chris Drongoski....who thinks he knows everything, threatens the politico's all the time, and as he said "He and Kindel will control who gets elected in this town".

Since DS..aka CD started the thread he must once again be angry that the TB didn't do as he told them to do.

    Just Curious

Where are all the GM apologists tellling us we are all wrong? I think SM, BW, and GM have the biggest egos but that is just IMHO.

GM stated that he expects to save about $500,000 of that which was taken back from the budgets. Probably thinks that the hurdles will be too great for departments to get their money back. There are limited numbers of TB meetings left and all they have to do is deny or table any resolution to get their way. Let the erosion of the departments begin. But who is pulling the strings here? GM thinks it's him, but I suspect BW, whose real colors are beginning to show. Everything he does is to increase his exclusive power.
