BY Chance or was it Fate

I am posting this short store about me because I think it makes a good stepping board to the understanding of Chance or fate.

    Thursday evening 2008

I was out shopping for a shredder, and I went to most main stores by me. My last store I went to was Office Depot. I walked toward the office desk, and chairs noticing a women trying out a chair. I know I said some off the cuff re-mark, and she said hello with a smile. She was attractive, well dressed, she said she was an important person Humm., and work out of her home.

I sort of hung around her making small talk about office stuff, and she indulged me by adding more to our off the cuff conversation. I had an urge to give her my e-mail address, I thought a moment, her living in Williamsville, and waring a fur coat I felt for a moment, I was out of her league a bit, and decided to pass on my idea. So, was it a chance meeting or was it fate knocking on my door ? I always believe in this...If it was meant to meet her again, I will run into her again; somewhere, sometime in the future...Right !

Why were you buying a shredder? What model were you looking at?

If it was meant to be then you will meet again, hopefully not in a car crash.

Do you mean that the way she was dressed indicated that she was probably important or that she actually SAID that? If it's the latter, I'd say you didn't miss out on much.

Missed opportunity, but, if she is thinking the same thing, you should go back to Office Depot this Thursday, same time...we'll see if it's fate.

I'm hoping that you'll run into her again and you'll date, mate and be happy. Seriously.

"Fate" or "luck?" "Missed opportunity?" If this was or WASN'T a missed opportunity, you'll learn from this experience (if you don't see her again) and the next girl you feel chemistry with, you go for it,

-Especially if you have no problem with the possibility of rejection

-I know that "life is short" is an over-used, tired cliche' but its painfully true.

The most HEARTBREAKING thing about missed opportunities is never having taken the chance, looking back on your life (years later) with regret and anger for never taking advantage of who or what good things fate, serendipity or synchronicity offers you.

Please don't think that ANYONE is "out of your league" even if MOST suburbanites and upper class dolts are repulsive condescending wastes of space.
Coincidence is the word we use when we can't see the levers and pulleys.

Exactly. I wouldn't spend too much time if I were him with the "what-if's" and feelings of regret. Move on and next time perhaps there will be more obvious signals & he'll feel more confident to "go for it".

Reason why I didn't go for it is because I have a female friend however, all she does is spend my money, and I am ready to pull the trash button however, she never goes away...you know like that movie fatal attraction. more i push her away the more she needs my money...lol So, when I meet this woman last night you know I thought it was a sight from above I would be set free soon...from the money eater from hell..lol, and fine a lamb soon..lol
