Clarence & other home owners along Ellicott Creek pay for Lancaster’s dumping ! ?
If you live near Ellicott Creek – down stream of Lancaster – if you suffer ground water damage – if you buy flood insurance – Lancaster could be your true problem .
>>
Did you know the Town of Lancaster allows and approves dumping/pumping over 18 Million gallons of water yearly into Ellicott Creek !
>>
This is not rain or storm water run off – its pumped directly from two commercial sites – into the Ellicott Creek . It continues - even during rain days , during high water times and snow thaws ! The Lancaster Town Board is aware , they approve and seem unconcerned .

They also approved recent land stripping along the protected Ellicott Creek wetlands in Lancaster –the shore line was stripped East of the Stony Rd.Bridge in Lancaster . This has resulted in polluting of Creek water (Small reprimand from DEC – Town Board informed – no corrective action taken.
