Thread: Depew resident complains about traffic and traffic safety issues in Lancaster

    If they could put a middle turning lane from Pleasantview to Walden on Central Ave, it would help people making left turns out of side streets and driveways. At least you could get across one lane of traffic and have a place to wait until the other lane is accessible.

    Gorja - You said you've been in Lancaster for 7 years. Was traffic bad in front of your house 7 years ago?

    Traffic 7 years ago wasn't like it is now. There was traffic but it was bearable. The back-up from the Central Ave & Walden light wasn't as far south as it is now on a regular basis. Besides the traffic from new developments, there are also people avoiding construction on Transit Rd.

    But I'm flexible, instead of crossing traffic I'm able to go the opposite direction that I intend to go and go around the block

    I meant North.
