Paladino did it - he turned a pay-as-you-go highway into a socialist supported highway.

Hochui claims she spearheaded or started or led the efforts which she did according the Buffalo News. She was the first one to initiate the fight and kept on it for 10 yrs. Was she the one who ultimately brought them down? I don't think so, but she was the one who started it and kept on it for 10 yrs.

You might as well take some credit, too. Brian Higgins and about ten other people , at least, pushed for this because it was a great political move.

You are all wrong! It was the benevolent leader, Dale Volker, who imparted his goodwill upon us peasants.

    LOLZ

I still remember the video of that old fool Volker trying to get his mug in the picture and jumping on the pack of a pickup...or something like that.

Based on memory and what I could find running a few searches, the law suit to remove the toll booths was filed by Carl Paladino and Joel Giambra. There was some difficulty even getting other local officials to agree that it was something worth doing. Once it appeared that Carl and Joel were going to be successful, Higgins and a host of others suddenly crawled out from under their rocks and jumped on the anti-toll booth bandwagon. I can't remember Hochul playing a role in this and couldn't find anything suggesting she was involved at all.

Based on what I've seen so far, it wouldn't surprise me if next week Hochul starts telling people she was the one who got bin Laden.
