I feel very bad for the competing businesses in that area. They have a unfair advantage because of the burden of taxes NYS places on them.

That area will be built up a little. Unlike when Paladino had his broke down buildings there. Isn't it amazing how fast something can get done when the politics are out of the equation.
I am glad it is going forward though I do not support the idea of having the casino arrangement if that makes sense to you.
Your only happy because you'll spend less in gas going to this casino because it's closer.

what are they ? Carbones pizzeria, which has great pie.
That was a good one. Truthfully though, you are right. Carbones, the Malamute, Swannie House, that's about it.Originally Posted by Deerhunter

Quit with all your whining and lawsuits. People are such pussies today.
I don't go to casinos, I don't like card games, but I don't care that people want to spend money there. It's like sports. I hate football and the Bills, I love hockey and the Sabres. Should Buffalo ban people who don't support the Bills? That's about how stupid all these lawsuits are brought on by some old hippies and urban planners that screwed our city over 30-40 years ago.
It's an investment in the city that will generate some revenue. Besides, does it really chap your asses Mr. and Misses Anti-Casino that the Senecas want to open a full fledged casino in a desolate section of town? It's not going to be opened on Oakland Place, Middlesex Drive, Nottingham Terrace, or any other palatial street you reside on. I don't see the black community up in arms in that neighborhood about investment?
Plus, it will generate some jobs for the people residing in the Perry Projects and quite possibly motivate people to do better in life. God forbid.
Be advised, I'm mean nasty and tired. I eat concertina wire and piss napalm and I could put a round through a fleas ass at 300 meters. So why don't you hump somebody else's leg mutt-face before I push yours in. (Heartbreak Ridge)
Any news on additional development at the Senaca casino in Niagara Falls. Are they adding any new hotels etc.?
