10/6: Female Musicians Fighting Breast Cancer Benefit

It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month - please check out the 5th Annual Female Musicians Fighting Breast Cancer benefit show at Club Infinity, this Saturday (10/6) at 7pm., $10 donation/admission. The money made at the door and from the raffles will be donated to Roswell Park Breast Cancer Care Clinic & Resource Center. This show features The Daughters of Creative Sound, Gretchen Schultz and Doug Morgano, Nikki Hicks and the Soul Music Souljas, The Patti Parks Blues Band, and headliner: About Face.


Please consider attending - not only will there be 5 kickin bands, but there will be raffles:

- An Ariana 4 string bass courtesy of Generations Music!!!
- An OLP 5 string bass courtesy of Crossroads Music Centre!!!
- A BC Rich electric guitar and gig bag courtesy of Guitar Factory!!!
- A Peavey Raptor electric guitar courtesy of Guitar Center!!!
- A gift certificate from Select Sound Studios for 5 hrs. of recording
time with a mastered cd!!!

heh, i just remembered, last year's event was scheduled for 10/18, but since the city and the suburbs were such a mess after that storm it was postponed. glad they'll be able to host this event IN Breast Cancer Awareness Month this year.
