I was at the festivities and game last night... the word amazing doesn't do it justice. I've been to over 100 games and last night will be the first one I tell my kids about... well until they win the cup!

What bothers me is that Brown gave TO the key to the city before he even played a game... why the **** hasn't he given mr. Pegula it for all he's done?

It's especially impressive that not that long ago they were in last place. Then, after they were doing well, they got a new owner and they're doing even better.

I am told the sabres are the team other teams want to stay away from. Could this be the yr?

The Sabres are indeed the hot team right now but Vancouver is the favorite to win it all. The other reason teams don't want to play us is the unpredictability that comes with being as dark horse...

Unless the Sabres end up playing the Rangers for the conference final or one of the bottom teams from the west for the final, they'll never have home ice advantage. Given the Sabres road record this year, this may be an advantage...

Miller played well and so did the defensemen. I'd like to see more scoring opportunities from the forwards though. All in all, it was a good win.
