    IDAs- Clarence IDA has worst job growth

    According to this article Clarence's IDA exempted $295,214 in taxes to LOSE 231 jobs.

    Other Erie County IDAs

    Amherst IDA exempted $2,610, 421 in taxes to gain 3128 jobs at a cost of $834. per job.
    Erie County IDA exempted $14,923,355 in taxes to gain 8059 jobs at a cost of $1,851 per job
    Hamburg IDA exempted $1,711,785 in taxes to gain 698 jobs ata cost of $2,452 per job
    Lancaster IDA exempted $1,296,337 in taxes to gain 260 jobs at a cost of $3,600 per job.

    As I understand the article, that was for the year 2024, correct?

    If I am correct, it is simple, but it says it. So much for the "new direction" of LIDA, but, shhhhhh, Mr. Steel may get upset at your post.
