We shouldnt have to pay higher taxes for infrastructure, thats their job!

We shouldnt have to pay higher taxes for infrastructure, thats their job!

They should cut out all their patronage administration staff and put out bonds for major infrastructure work.

BUFFALO IS IN MAJOR NEED OF NEW WATER LINES, NEW SEWAR LINES, NEW ROADS (ASPHALT AND COBBLESTONE), NEW LIGHTING, NEW CURBS, NEW SIDEWALKS, NEW TREES, NEW GAS LINES, NEW SUPERCONDUCTING ELECTRIC LINES, NEW FIBER OPTIC LINES FOR COMMUNICATIONS ETC.

NOT TO MENTION DREDGING IN EACH OF THE OLMSTEAD PARK LAKES

Its not just about bridges...and the problem is that we have to much buracracy and not enough workers....we dont need more taxes....we need less administrators and better tracking...so the workers dont spend half their day at Tim Hortons.

They've been doing this since 1991. Money has been appropriated for bridge and road repair since 1991. The money has been spent on other things. How come government can spend the money elsewhere but businesses that misappropriate funds get fined or go to jail? Look at the Rigases, they abused company money and now they're in jail. And yet this is okay for our elected officials to misuse taxpayer dollars?

Bridges collapsing and people dieing are fine examples of the collateral damage from all of our Nanny Government programs.

What he means is that if all the bridges were privately owned toll bridges you would never be any fear that a bridge might collapse. The owners of the bridge would routinely perform all required maintenance on the bridge even if it meant providing no dividends for the stock holders.

how about spending less on non-citizens and more on our own country instead of always raising taxes!

Actually what I think he means is that government has bitten off more then they can chew with their policy. If it were not for social programs that cost everyone but only benefit a few, the government could focus on efforts that effect everyone.

But hey...we all have our own opinion.
