Quinn, those are remarkable items you've posted.

We live in a Lord of the Flies society, one governed by fear, generated by a paranoid leadership.

And while this isn't anything, new, as it's been growing for decades, G.W.' administration has stepped it up into a frenzied state of treasonous actions against the citizens of the US, removing our freedoms, keeping tabs on all we do. The internet has become a venus flytrap for the government to collect information through conversations amoungst us citizens, who can no longer trust the leadership, filing us all into a database of who is compliant and who may be a threat.

They depend on the "Not my problem" attitude that most people possess, to keep the rest of us in line, or at least keep us seperated as outcasts, from the bulk of the herd.

Remove the mail bombs, and Theodore Kaczynski would be a modern day philosophical hero.
Unfortunately, he couldn't see the light and drop out, without making a murderous statement.

A cabin on a remote mountaintop, far removed from society, with a select # of carefully screened aquaintences is truly our best option.

Personally, I'm looking towards the remote desert.
Which is part of my desire to go back to trucking; The only job you can have and live anywhere.

NOW, go watch BTT's video in the most important video you'll ever see thread, which ties it all together.

Also, any thought on the radio frequency transmitting implants removed frm the bodies of people who claim to have been abducted by aliens??

(OK, the alien abduction is far fetched, but the implants are very real!)

Your Turn: ‘There is nothing fun about the New World Order’

    http://www.thepost.ohiou.edu/Articles/Opinion/2008/02/18/22940/

The article headlined “Exhibit to Clarify Great Seal's Symbolism” in your issue for Feb. 13, 2008, was enlightening. However, “clarification” implies confusion and questions — especially when the government feels it has to counter this accusation: “… that the Seal draws on Satanism or polytheistic ritual to promote a universal new world order under which Earth would be ruled by a single omnipotent government.” Wow! Which part of that statement is the government trying to debunk — the Satanism part or the new world order part?

But seriously, searching for hidden clues leading to insidious mysteries within the Great Seal may be fun, but there is nothing fun about the New World Order. Publicly announced by President George Herbert Walker Bush (George W.'s father) on Sept. 11, 1991, before a joint session of Congress, it had a powerful effect on the “dialogue.” Here is the quote: “[The war in Iraq is] a rare opportunity to move toward an historic period of cooperation. Out of troubled times, our fifth objective, a ‘new world order,’ can emerge.”

The New World Order has actually been around for a long time. H.G. Wells (the sci-fi novelist, historian and futurist) was a prominent member of the London-based Fabian Society and wrote a short book entitled “The New World Order” in 1939, which advocated one world government. Near the end, he states that during a difficult and painful transition period, many “quite gallant and graceful-looking people” will “die protesting against it.”

Here's another quote: “In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn't such a great idea after all” (Strobe Talbot, President Clinton's Deputy Secretary of State, quoted in Time Magazine, July 20th, 1992).

Another: “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the new world order” (David Rockefeller).

Another: “Today, America would be outraged if UN troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the world government” (Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderburger Conference, Evian, France, 1991).

Even Hitler was into it: “National Socialism will use its own revolution for establishing a new world order.”

There is so much more. Tomorrow, Feb. 19, at 6:30 p.m., a documentary by activist Michael Ruppert will screen at the Athens Public Library on this and related subjects. Admission is free. Call 707-3617 for more info.

Rule by fear or rule by law?

Rule by fear or rule by law?

    Lewis Seiler,Dan Hamburg

    Monday, February 4, 2008

"The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to the law, and particularly to deny him the judgment of his peers, is in the highest degree odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist."

    - Winston Churchill, Nov. 21, 1943

Since 9/11, and seemingly without the notice of most Americans, the federal government has assumed the authority to institute martial law, arrest a wide swath of dissidents (citizen and noncitizen alike), and detain people without legal or constitutional recourse in the event of "an emergency influx of immigrants in the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs."

Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of single-bid contracts with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed locations within the United States. The government has also contracted with several companies to build thousands of railcars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to transport detainees.

According to diplomat and author Peter Dale Scott, the KBR contract is part of a Homeland Security plan titled ENDGAME, which sets as its goal the removal of "all removable aliens" and "potential terrorists."

Fraud-busters such as Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Los Angeles, have complained about these contracts, saying that more taxpayer dollars should not go to taxpayer-gouging Halliburton. But the real question is: What kind of "new programs" require the construction and refurbishment of detention facilities in nearly every state of the union with the capacity to house perhaps millions of people?

Sect. 1042 of the 2007 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), "Use of the Armed Forces in Major Public Emergencies," gives the executive the power to invoke martial law. For the first time in more than a century, the president is now authorized to use the military in response to "a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, a terrorist attack or any other condition in which the President determines that domestic violence has occurred to the extent that state officials cannot maintain public order."

The Military Commissions Act of 2006, rammed through Congress just before the 2006 midterm elections, allows for the indefinite imprisonment of anyone who donates money to a charity that turns up on a list of "terrorist" organizations, or who speaks out against the government's policies. The law calls for secret trials for citizens and noncitizens alike.

Also in 2007, the White House quietly issued National Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51), to ensure "continuity of government" in the event of what the document vaguely calls a "catastrophic emergency." Should the president determine that such an emergency has occurred, he and he alone is empowered to do whatever he deems necessary to ensure "continuity of government." This could include everything from canceling elections to suspending the Constitution to launching a nuclear attack. Congress has yet to hold a single hearing on NSPD-51.

U.S. Rep. Jane Harman, D-Venice (Los Angeles County) has come up with a new way to expand the domestic "war on terror." Her Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 (HR1955), which passed the House by the lopsided vote of 404-6, would set up a commission to "examine and report upon the facts and causes" of so-called violent radicalism and extremist ideology, then make legislative recommendations on combatting it.

According to commentary in the Baltimore Sun, Rep. Harman and her colleagues from both sides of the aisle believe the country faces a native brand of terrorism, and needs a commission with sweeping investigative power to combat it.

A clue as to where Harman's commission might be aiming is the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, a law that labels those who "engage in sit-ins, civil disobedience, trespass, or any other crime in the name of animal rights" as terrorists. Other groups in the crosshairs could be anti-abortion protesters, anti-tax agitators, immigration activists, environmentalists, peace demonstrators, Second Amendment rights supporters ... the list goes on and on. According to author Naomi Wolf, the National Counterterrorism Center holds the names of roughly 775,000 "terror suspects" with the number increasing by 20,000 per month.

What could the government be contemplating that leads it to make contingency plans to detain without recourse millions of its own citizens?

The Constitution does not allow the executive to have unchecked power under any circumstances. The people must not allow the president to use the war on terrorism to rule by fear instead of by law.

    As usual, outstanding info

    Fun fact!

Does everyone know that if you have ever have or do protest against the policies of the Bush Administration, criticizing it enough to offend "the wrong people,"
    you are by broad definition,
    an
    "enemy combatant"
    and
so most "dissenters" in the U.S. may one day be riding on these trains to Halliburton's "camps"
    sound famaliar?
    Work, labor, detention camps?
    Death camps?

I seriously doubt that the billions of dollars spent on these trains and camps will go to waste as these projects are simply "abandoned" or put to sensible, humantarian use.

    "Never again" my @ss!!!

    Never forget that:
    "it COULD happen in America"

Every nation that has fallen under fascism became too complacent (the populace) and/or was manipulated by fear tactics
(EX: Citizens disappearing, never to be seen again)
even when they had all of the warning signs that the "other shoe was about to drop on them

Thank the media for constantly reassuring us that everything D.C. does is "for our own good and protection"

Just for voicing our harmless opinions or going to a 1000% peaceful anti-government protest,
we can be classified as an
    "enemy combatant"
    and
if and when martial law is declared
    and
the trains go into service and the camps are opened for business
kiss you lives, your hopes and dream,
everything you worked so hard for-
    Goodbye.

    It COULD "happen here"
Coincidence is the word we use when we can't see the levers and pulleys.

New poster here, glad I found this local site. No doubt that we are in some serious trouble and need to wake up to what is really going on in our country and the world. The Rule by fear or rule by law? article that qu1nn posted has incredible info. There is so much more out there, check infowars.com , tons of info. One of the biggest things you are not hearing about on the mainstream news is the trans texas corridor (nafta super highway) which is currently being built in texas despite massive opposition from locals. It will expand up to canada. By doing so they will steal thousands of acres of land, replace with a 4-12 lane super highway. Check youtube, makes ya wonder. Keep a look out for the real id card, very scary stuff, there is a current movement to prevent this from being a reality in ny, just like numerous other states. Its unconstitutional and has the potential to violate our privacy and way of life. The real id is a real nightmare get informed now while we still have a chance to prevent it. We have become to paralyze by fear, we as a nation must stand up and stop any further attacks on the constitution and bill of rights. We can keep our basic liberties without giving up our fundamental rights guaranteed under the constitution and bill of rights.

    Prophet of Doom

I come across this audio/ebook in my travels.

Take the time and listen to some of it.... at least the first 4 chapters and then the chapter on mein kampf.

I couldn't believe my ears, do your own verification of some of the verses and you will find that they are generally correct. For verification of some of the worst I used THIS SITE.

    Makes you wonder about things:

Regardless of who the director / creator of this video... it brings out SOME valid points of which I never gave any thought to, nor was aware of.

Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.
