I bet Fatso was beside himself over it. He and the 4 mannequins that make up the town board ooze contempt for the residents of Amherst who they consider unwashed racists. To have the unwashed racists deal him a blow like that must’ve been almost incomprehensible to him. But he and the members of the board are accomplished liars who can never, ever be trusted so it’s time to be more vigilant than ever.

I'm happy they pulled it off.

THere are people with the mindset we need to support the arts but this was basically a dinner theater business.

Daemen “University” advised that theater that its lease would not be renewed 6 years ago! They did nothing to help themselves. They couldn’t sell out a 130 seat theatre and they were late paying their rent. For this crappola, Fatso and his stooges were going to give away $11,000,000.00…that’s right…ELEVEN MILLION DOLLARS! That level of irresponsibility deserves special notice!

with 130 seats I wonder how many in total were sold per month.

THis show is running Jun 7th to the 16.

    WELL-BEHAVED WOMEN

    They have shows on the 7, 8, 9, 14 ,15, 16

    That is 6 shows.

    $43.00 - $43.00 including fees

Looks like about 90 seats when you look to buy tickets.

So let's be optimistic and say 75% are sold for each show.

    90 seats X 75% ~ 70 seats...

    70 X $43 = $3,010 a show on ticket sales.

    $3,010 X 6 = $18,060 for 6 shows

I wonder how that is divided up. How much goes towards the people putting the show on, how much does the "house" get and so on.
