Town Employee Contracts

Does anyone know what the current status of Town employees contacts is now? Someone told me that all the contracts have expired and that some have been working without a contract for years. I think that may be exagerrated?

What's up!!! I know that other towns have given minimal increases....just wondering about us.

All 5 Union Contracts are now expired. Two Unions have been without a contract since the END of 2006. The other three expired at the end of 2010

The Fire Dispatchers and most of the employees in the Engineering Dept. have been w/o contracts since 2006. The largest group of employees (mostly white color & some blue collar) have been w/o a contract since the end of 2008. Police & Highway contracts ended Dec. 2010.

Engineering contract worked thru by Satish and turned into town for approval in June HELD BY TOWN with never an attempt to vote it in till after the great Barry took office and then voted down by board. no attempt to renegotiate on any of the contracts The Town is doing nothing to settle ANY OF THE CONTRACTS
