As a first-time candidate for public office, Chrissy Casilio brings new leadership, energy, and vision to the campaign for Erie County Executive. A successful small business owner, working mother, community leader, and concerned citizen and taxpayer, Chrissy brings a very different and much needed perspective to the fight to create a brighter future for the residents of Erie County.
Chrissy Casilio is an established leader in the Western New York business community and a civic leader recognized for her significant accomplishments in her personal and professional life. With over 15 years in the marketing and public relations industry, Chrissy brings an unparalleled level of energy, excitement and commitment to every client and project she engages with. Her professional skills, her passion, and her commitment to excellence will be welcome additions to Erie County government.

Chrissy founded Casilio Communications in 2014, and has built the business into a leader in providing marketing, public relations, branding and advertising services to businesses in a wide variety of industries across Western New York. Colleagues and clients alike attribute their mutual success to Chrissy’s strengths in listening to and understanding their problems and needs, and then working collaboratively to develop positive solutions. Chrissy’s candidacy is unique in that her real-world experience has given her an acute understanding of the difficulties young families, senior citizens and local businesses face in the current economic climate.

Chrissy is a proud, third-generation member of the Clarence Rotary Club. She served as the youngest President in the club’s history and spearheaded the development of the Clarence Veterans Memorial, a million-dollar public-private partnership that honors the service of hundreds of our bravest men and women and has become a cherished destination in the Town of Clarence. A past recipient of the Clarence Rotarian of the Year award, her fundraising, public relations, and social media initiatives on behalf of her local club and the U.S region of Rotary District 7090 resulted in her being named as a Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary International’s highest honor.

Chrissy’s community activities also include her active membership in the Clarence Chamber of Commerce where she co-chaired the Women in Business Conference for several years. Chrissy’s business success and accomplishments on behalf of her community were recognized with her inclusion in The Buffalo Business First “30 under 30” Class of 2013.

Balancing business, public service, and family is a generations-old Casilio tradition started by Chrissy’s grandfather, the late Pat Casilio. Pat founded one of Western New York’s leading real estate and development firms and instilled in his family and his company the importance of service to others. Committed to continuing that legacy and dedicated to developing future generations of leaders, Chrissy regularly conducts business mentoring with area high school and college students, helping prepare them for successful careers that emphasize the importance of giving back to their community.

A life-long Western New Yorker, Chrissy was born, raised and currently lives in Clarence, New York. A graduate of Clarence High School and the University at Buffalo where she earned her journalism degree. Married to her high school sweetheart Zach, she is the loving and devoted mother of three children – six-year-old Andrew, four-year-old Leah and one and a half-year-old Cara.
