With the high rise in gas prices, how is it affecting you?

Summer's on it's way and many of us are angry about the high gas prices. Take part in the poll, leave a comment or two on the high price of gas and how it is affecting you?

tanks for sharing the link, therising.

This is a good resource for the educated consumer
(sounds like a SYMS commercial- lol)

On the down side, how much can be really saved if a person drives 40 miles (round trip) out of the way because it's cheaper, but you'll have to use more gas to get there and back.
    I don't know....... just a thought.

something I heard on the news today.

It was said that national government may suspend tax on the price of gasoline through the summer to help the economy & travelers.

This would be a good thing.

9 or out 13 votes on this poll say that people are still driving the same amount and just paying the extra price. This is true, I was downtown today around 5pm and there weren't any less drivers than normal getting on the 90.

    Interesting

I do wonder what the price ceiling will be for it to inpact people's driving habits....

    And...

Don't think that the oil companies aren't monitoring such things as well....they might let it go back down to like $1.90.....but as long as people are still buying at almost $2.00 and above...there is no incentive for them to lower......so these prices may never reverse...at least not dratiscally....

945,049 people live in Erie County, 766,698 (Persons 16 years over) are in the working force. 432,883 commute to work. Jobs would be affected if the increase continues much more.

We should be in Florida, their price of gas hasn't reached $2.00 yet.

I can't participate in this poll, cause it's incomplete.

The National Parks are emptier this year.

    So I'm riding more.
