The article that Gary Howell wrote after the last Town Board meeting on Town Board member spread false information on Lancaster Headquarters needs to be looked at. What the heck is going on, Ruffino and the board were the defenders in a lawsuit and the Police Station has been delay, because the suit is not over? The Lancaster Police Station should have been worked on if the suit had nothing to do with the suit, or is the cost more than this Board is willing to tell the taxpayers. WHAT is the cost and why hasn't the board start the process, maybe the elections has something to do with it. The Taxpayers must know and the truth would be nice for once. The rumors in the Town is that's the coldcraft building is the storeage shed for all the Police officers toys. boats, snowmobiles, trailers, god knows what? The supervisor and board bought the building so fast that the ink wasn't dry and the had study after study completed. and that's got to be four years ago and NO new police station on Walden Ave. And Ron Ruffino stills points the fingers at Howell and others that they caused it. The facts are the Coldcraft building is and will aways a good old boy boo-boo for a friend on the IDA By Mr. Giza and the board money up in smoke. Could it be that the real "Giza/Sherwood Plan" is to build a
"Municipal Center"

Could it be that almost ten years ago a set of plans were created that showed this "Municipal Center" at the Pavement and Pleasantview site ?

Now i know some of the regular defenders of the "Status Quo" will again attack this post. So go the the Broadway Library and look up the Planning Board and Town Board filed documents or Lancaster's Building department files - start around 1997 - 2000. The Town also has "Archives" where by "Law" these items are kept .

Just ask for "Proposed and uncompleted" land development plans. You know , the ones that seem to "Pop Up" every time some one says , "I thought we weren't starting any new projects" and Giza/Sherwood always seem to say , "These plans were filed years ago."

Use your "freedom of Information rights" guaranteed by "Law" to view these and other filed plans/proposals .

But then again they might say your "Mis-interpreting" the "Law"
