    I thought it was funny, but I wonder about the utility of protesting your opposition. Wouldn't Cuomo supporters better spend their time getting out the Cuomo message rather than protesting the Paldino message?

    I suppose some in the crowd might argue that they were not there as Cuomo supporters but rather just as protesters about Carl's positions. However, the people with the Cuomo signs certainly couldn't make that argument. And those signs hurt the credibility of the protest as it made it appear as a for-Cuomo-against-Palidino event.
