Congratulations to Jessie Pegula on a great run at the US Open this year. Right now, she is the highest ranked American tennis player in the world, male or female. One can’t prove such things but my guess is she’s done more with her talent than any other woman on the women’s circuit. After she lost her match, at her post-match presser, she conducted herself with dignity as she sat there pounding down a Heineken right out the can. Now that’s a Buffalo gal. Right on, Jessie!!
