The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has received a $100,000 state grant that will help with its 2007 education underwriting programming.
The grant was secured from State Sen. Mary Lou Rath, R-Williamsville.
Daniel Hart, orchestra executive director, said the funds have been earmarked for a wide array of music education programs including interactive lectures and behind-the-scenes lessons for students of all ages.
