Just an idea:

If the Lancaster Town Board wanted to, couldn't they vote to share the $400,000$ profits from the DEPEW library sale with DEPEW ?

If the DEPEW library was sold for $400,000$ to other than a non-profit group , how much tax income could DEPEW receive yearly ?

I understand most if not all of the sale profits go to Lancaster - which should not be the case , but Lancaster's Controlling Members have sealed that case.

Why aren't the profits shared ? $200,000$ could do allot to hold the line on property taxes in DEPEW or help fix the ice rink for the residents of DEPEW and others who use it !

I am sure if the Town Board wanted to , they could find away to share the profits .After all didn't DEPEW Residents help support that Library with their tax dollars?

WHY NOT ?
