Oh the horror! Pilato is not telling the truth about his town employment record. But you fail to post the flipside of the mailer and the charges made against the Democrat candidates.
The same Democratic candidates that colluded with the Republican Party to become cross endorse candidates of both parties. Two of the candidates longtime Democrats that registered within a year as Conservatives to primary the endorsed candidates and had their behinds handed to them. The same two candidates that accepted the endorsement of the ultra-left, socialist Working Families Party.
All the deceit and machinations played by all three candidates and the Republican and Democratic parties to usurp all political ballot lines, thereby suppressing voter voice. Their lies the true deceit in all this political theater taking place on this site.
What is most appalling is the disregard for political values and party policies for the sake of political gain and self-interest that took place in the primary, Amatura and Rudz sought the endorsements of the Democrat, Republican and Conservative Parties. Amatura and Rudz petitioned for Conservative Party endorsements, were interviewed and were denied endorsement. They were endorsed by the Democrat and Republican Parties. They primaried the endorsed Conservative candidates and lost handily. They were not challenged in the Democrat or Working Families Party primary lines and remain on those ballot lines
A lifelong Democrat (and Democratic committee member), Wozniak became a registered conservative in 2020 to make himself eligible to primary for the Conservative line in 2020. He received the endorsements of the Democrat, Republican and Working Family Parties. He was defeated on the Republican and Conservative lines in the 2021 primary. He remains on the Democrat and Working Families ballot lines as there was no primary challenge. The same for Amatura.
One must question the value of candidates, their political policies, their agendas on how to serve in the best interest of the community, rather than their own best interests. How does one serve four masters?
Equally appalling was seeing voters registering as conservatives to support interloping candidates who did the same and doing so to undermine the endorsed conservative candidates. We see clear evidence of that on this website.
I have already submitted my absentee ballot and voted for Pilato, Dickman and Burkard. They stayed true to their conservative values and by winning allowed me to have candidates on a minor line to vote for – now that the Independence Party is no longer on the ballot. I deplore voting on either Democrat or Republican lines.
Local and County Republican and Democrat Party Chairs should be ashamed and chastised for allowing the double-dealing that took place in this year’s primary – and continues.
