SACL - Part 2- Right Hand Turns
This makes so much sense not turning and throttling over the residential areas.
Just a not accurate free hand turn illustration.
Turns out of Lancaster airport
Will the BLA go for it without the promise of expansion?

Looks like the airport managment aren't willing to appease the affected residents concerns. From the Bee-
Airport President and Manager Tom Geles said Tuesday that the sought-after expansions, including a parallel taxiway, will provide additional safety. He added that a meeting that included airport and residents’ attorneys was held about two weeks ago and another was scheduled for Tuesday, but residents had to cancel. He was surprised to hear that the issue was instead brought to the Town Board.
Geles called the right-hand turn an unreasonable request because changing a flight pattern that has been used for 40 years would introduce other safety concerns.
“It would put us right into the Buffalo airspace,” he said. “I would not do that.”
He also found it unreasonable that residents are asking a business not to grow.
“Tell any industry, tell any business don’t expand, and see what their reaction is,” he said

It appears that Mr. Geles is not up on his sectional map. The updated version of the flight path and the cut out Class C airspace clearly denotes that turning right over open land away from incoming large aircraft from International would certainly be far more safer to fly at low altitude than flying over many lakes, large population of geese and housing.
Mr. Geles is out of touch and as the manager/owner of that airport, he should be abreast of the flight path and the fact that he and his engineering firm Passaro Associates did their Environmental Assessment in the North~~not in the South.
Poor judgement call on his part.
Good illustration Gorja, the right hand turn however will extend out beyond Walden Avenue. The sectional's depicted the Lancaster runway for 40 years in the wrong place. They depicted the runway across the street (Walden). Therefore, if indeed it were depicted in that spot, a left hand turn is prevelant. However, since they have since then depicted the accurate placement of the runway, it shows that turning left is more dangerous and more obstacles placed ahead as with the right hand turn. The right hand turn makes more sense, and they indeed did the assessment in the North. Therefore, why even fly in the South?
