Library officials are scrambling to figure out how to sustain a proposed 21 percent cut in county funding.
The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library, as well as Erie County Community College and others, has been notified by County Executive Chris Collins to prepare for a cut in 2011 aid. The library has planned a budget meeting at the central library Thursday, July 29, at 1 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.
People who wonder if the glass is half empty or full miss the point. The glass is refillable.
Although I am not a fan of corporate sponsorship, perhaps they should find a way to get corporate sponsorship. Advertisements?
