    Statler

Thanks to Marc Croce for trying but this whole Statler thing will turn into another taxpayer funded mess! There are still no funds to stabilize the building and who is going to schedule an event in a building where someone entering or leaving can be brained by falling concrete at any minute. I don't blame Byron Brown for wanting to see Croce's plan before he commits $. After all, when it comes to successfully developing small business Croce is no Leonard Stokes!

    Croce is a scumbag

The guy is a dirt ball. I would never set foot in any establishment he was a part of. I've seen his actions firsthand. Again , he is pond scum.

I think the guy already got commitments before he signed the paper..

So he borrows $200,000 gets the city to forgive $500,000 in taxes or borrows $700,000 and pays $500,000 in taxes but gets commitments of 5.2 million in public funding..

Does his own contracting work and then gets his investment back..

6 of one and a half dozen of another..

They should of gave the building to HSBC for their bank and offices since they are threatening to move..

How would giving a building to HSBC that needs millions of work, which is going to take years to complete, going to solve anything?

I agree with your funny numbers take. What I think should have happened is the city/state put the $5m into the building and then put it on the open market.

Croce got a deal. Who knows if he is going to keep up his end. I hope so.

More power to him if he does this with his own money. No taxpayer handouts, or better put, corporate welfare.
