- You get pissed if people think you're from Canada .
- You tend to abbreviate the name to "the Falls"
- You live in Deveaux, LaSalle, Hyde Park , or Downtown.
- You roll up your windows and lock your doors if you drive down
Highland ave.
- You think people who live in Deveaux or on Cayuga Island are stuck
up...unless you live in those places, then you think the others are
ghetto.
- You are a Bills, Sabres, or Bisons fan.
- A sub isn't a sub unless its from Viola's and the grease seeps through
the bag.
- Most of your friends went to NCCC or NU.
- NU's basketball team will kick your ass...literally.
- You spend your 19th birthday in Canada (or the Club Exit)
- You know the difference between 'NFHS' and 'Old NFHS' but still refer
to both as just 'High School'.
- You always get Ferry ave. and Walnut ave. confused.
- Gaskill's band was, is, and will always be better than Niagara
Middle's band...and what is LaSalle Middle anyway?!
- You can't buy skim milk at the Deveaux Mini Mart, but you can buy
weave and 'Tommy jeans'.
- You remember when the Summit Mall actually had stores, and was better
than the "old " Outlet Mall.
- You remember when General Cinemas was way cooler than Four Seasons.
- You used to stand on a table or chair in the cafeteria to see a fight
better.
- If you know 1 or more of the following phrases:

~ 'Get out of my hallway!'
- The community fair = white trash convention. The Peach Fest was for the
Upper class...
- As a kid you went to sleepovers at Fort Niagara or the Aquarium.
- You always end up at Perkins or Denny's no matter what happens.
- Your grandma used to take you to city market when you were little.
- You only get speeding tickets in NT and Grand Island .
- When its actually warm, you get ice cream at the Ice Bridge or Dee
Dee 's Dairy.
- You once attended a school that has been closed or torn down.
- You can't get a job in the school district unless your last name is
Granto or Bianco...or, lets face it, ends in a vowel.
- There is a good chance that on any given night, you will see someone
on 3rd Street who you haven't seen since Elementary School.
- You don't really consider Canada another country.
- You use a broom to brush the snow off of your car.
- You or someone you know works at the Casino.
- You remember when drag queens were robbing banks.
- You remember when Niagara Splash was open.
- Your Halloween costume, as a kid, can fit over a snowsuit.
- You know what the "Canadian Ballet" is.
- You've crossed the border into Canada just to eat Chinese.
- Half the change in your pocket is Canadian.
- You use the word 'the' in front of expressways: the 90, the 290, etc.
- Driving is better in the winter, because the potholes are filled in.
- You know what "wind chill factor" and "lake effect snow" are.
- You've gotten frostbite and sunburn in the same weekend.
- Bills vs. Dolphins football game isn't just a game, it's personal.
- You've driven during a state of emergency or driving ban.
- You've seen lightning and snow in the same storm.
- You keep a snow brush in your car all year round.
- When you are away at college you can't find good pizza or wings.
- You call Chicken Wings, Chicken wings or just wings...never Buffalo
Wings!
- Ted's Hot Dogs, Bison Chip Dip, Michael's, Chivetta's Chicken, Sammy's
Pizza, DiCamillo's Bread... DELICIOUS! But you long for Trusello's to
reopen.
- Washed down with Aunt Rosie's Loganberry, Johnnie Ryan's, and Vernors!
- You want to kill yourself every time you see a HUUUUGE Fucillo Chevrolet
commercial.
- Your last stop of the night usually is Colasso Taco and you'll
probably see a fight.
- You still fight over who is better: Powercats or Explorers.
- It seems that everyone is related to someone you know.
- You have delivered papers for the Niagara Gazette at some point in
your life.
- One word for skiers, snowboarders, and hockey players: Cupolos.
- Your college science professor talks about love canal in class and you
get embarrassed.
- You are a twin because it was 'something in the water'.
- You or someone you know overused the phrase 'jabroni'
or 'dude'
- You're middle school bus aid told you that they 'could be your best
friend or worst nightmare'.
- You call Portage Road Tops: 'Ghetto Tops'.
- You have heard of the Portage House...or miss the Portage House.
- Your gym classes at the 'Old NFHS' got rained out due to the leaky
roof.
- You used to get lost in Media Play.
- You fly down the LaSalle Expressway b/c you know there are never any
cops.
- You kept your throwback Buffalo Bills sweatshirt even though they lost
the superbowl 4 times.
- If you're on a sports team, you're used to having a losing
record...unless you're on the basketball teams, wrestling team, or
bowling Team.
- You have fond memories of playing in the fountain at the Rainbow Mall or
at the Edent Lackly Plaza.
- Aqua Falls aka former ginormous hole in the ground.
- Pizza Oven has some great pizza, even though its open for like an hour
a day and 12 weeks a year.
- All the others schools surrounding your area were closed and you would
watch TV until 8am hoping school was cancelled but it didn't happen.
- You have fond memories of going to Mallard's and Rapids games.
- You remember getting pizza from Trusello's.
- You can cross the border to Canada without even glancing over at the
Falls

This was great! I grew up in "the Falls"........and miss Truscello's pizza!!! My mom tells me there is a small bakery in Wilson who makes pizza that is really, really, close to Truscello's!!!
