Just My Opinions:
Hey Blunt, apparently you did not hear the session tonight, but if I understood the Supervisor correctly, he held that the Public Participation privilege excludes asking questions and only permits "comments."
If my understanding is correct, it seems to me that the Public Participation forum may selectively be used by our elected officials as an unresponsive, "in one ear, out the other" interaction with their constituents.
BTW, I understand that each public commenter is given five minutes to state its business. Does that time include the minutes expended by public officials who loudly over-talk the commenter?
