Dues paying Union members never endorsed Joe Biden many dont know he gets their money

Dues paying Union members never voted to endorse #JoeBiden - nor did they get to vote to give him their money in #UnionPACfunds.

"It is unlawful for a labor union to take money from your paycheck for contributions to a federal PAC or for the federal PAC to accept such contributions without your written authorization. Recently, the Federal Election Commission has audited some well-known national union PACs to see if they had written authorizations from employees for the contributions the PACs were receiving. The results were astonishing.

One national union PAC, according to the FEC audit, could not produce written authorizations for 93% of PAC contributions the FEC examined.

Another national union PAC was unable to show authorizations for at least 67% of the contributions the FEC examined. This suggests a widespread problem: union PACs are making political contributions to federal candidates with employees’ money taken without their written authorizations.

How is that supposed to work?

Each union member literally votes on items like this?

Why should your money support a candidate , incumbent or party you didn't choose or one you dont agree with ?

First - they never tell members about the deduction authorization form ! Its that simple -

What they have been doing is just adding the PAC fund "donation" into whats removed as "dues" ! Most employees dont understand that they are funding the Unions Political action fund. Then the Union usually appoints a few Union admin members to administer the fund. This gives the Union controllers complete control of that money. They decide who gets a check -

Most Unions will pass resolutions to "refund" the fund should it fall under a given amount. So lets say in any given year - they can give away basically as much as they want ! They say "Well we only hold $65,000.00 in the fund" - but they can refill anytime they want.

Sense the lion share of the money goes to Democrat candidates/incumbents no one wants to try and enforce the rules. Lets say if the mayor of any City gets a yearly or campaign season campaign check - why would he chance trying to enforce the rules ?

The Unions - if asked about the PAC fund spending - they say "We buy access to our elected officials" - "we need to have them on our side during negotiations for contracts" -

If you push the issue - "Aren't you a team player - don't you support your Union - if you dont like it you can always quit the Union (your job is done) !
