Schools may Reconsider Plans to Reopen

The city will hold no classes in sept. Maryvale and West Seneca dist not going back. Seems covid cases are picking up the past few days in the area.

Why in the hell are these area schools reopening and having these kids back into these buildings. Colleges are reopening and most closing down within a week or less because of the out breaks of covid. If I was a parent of a first grader no way I would send them. Let see if they change their mind and keep teachers and kids out of schools.

Of course they should go back to school. Do they close every time someone gets the flu? This is just a giveaway to teachers unions. A full years salary to do nothing. They can’t stay shut down forever, do nothing and continue to expect to get paid. Maybe it’s time for some taxpayer lawsuits. See how quick they get back in the classroom if the gravy training ends. As for the Buffalo schools who cares if they ever “reopen”. On any given day they’re lucky to have 50% attendance and it ceased functioning as an institution of learning 20 years ago.Infection rate is less than 1%.
