Unprofessional.... she wasn't bothering anybody, let her take her video and move on
When I saw this guy on the news I said yep another hot-headed cop that feels he can do what he wants.
He was in trouble before and just a slap on the hands and he is out on the streets acting like an idiot. Look I am a fan of cops but not ones think they can do what the want because their testicles went to their heads.
why wasn't the Lt sent for some kind of training to control himself like a cop and yet a white shirt. the city can't seem to stay out of trouble with these guys of late.
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Video shows Buffalo Police Lieutenant Mike DeLong approach a woman as she records a separate incident where several officers are seen surrounding a man outside a 7-Eleven.
Now, because of what he said in the video, DeLong has been suspended and internal affairs is investigating. That video shows him confronting the woman and calling her an offensive word.
According to a Facebook post, the woman saw several officers approach a man standing outside a 7-Eleven on Sunday.
Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood has ordered an immediate internal affairs investigation into an incident where a BPD officer is seen on camera confronting the woman recording, calling her a “disrespectful little f****** c***.”
Mayor useless erkel comments on this.
Mayor erkel credits the police commissioner for taking quick action.
“We want every officer to treat all people with respect and dignity. We didn’t see that with that video. It was a terrible disappointment, and Police Commissioner Lockwood took the right, immediate action, opening an investigation, immediately, suspending without pay, that officer, immediately,” Brown said.
The investigation is being handled by the police department’s Internal Affairs Division.

This is what I mean about cops that have their testicles for brains. Nothing is done with cops like this 36 complaints on this goofball. His fifth suspension.
Delong was suspended 30 days in 2018 for a domestic incident, one day in 2017 for violating the sick leave policy, one day in 2014 for "conduct off duty" and two days in 2008 for use of force, the records show.
A real tiger at home , Delong was cited for three domestic incidents, but only one was sustained. The sustained incident was investigated in March 2018 and resulted in a 30-day suspension without pay.
According to Delong's "disciplinary card" provided by Buffalo Police, the 36 complaints filed against Delong since he joined the force in 2000 had the following results:
22 complaints were deemed "not sustained" by the department's internal investigators.
6 complaints were sustained, including the four suspensions.
4 complaints resulted in a "commissioner's conference" or "chief's conference"
2 complaints resulted in Delong being "exonerated"
1 complaint was "unfounded"
1 complaint was handled "other, administrative
why is this guy still a cop? Now the media can get the disciplinary card sound be interesting with all these towns too, Like to know how many cops like delong are around.
