Buffalo Police are investigating an early-morning shooting on Ashley Street in Buffalo that left three people dead. Police say it appears to be a targeted shooting. could be drugs, weapon deals, or gangs.

The initial call came in just after 5:00 a.m. Thursday.

At that point, crews found three victims in a home on Ashley Street. Police were on-scene shortly after, taping off the street. Around 8:30 a.m. police confirmed that the shooting was fatal.

A young child is in critical condition following a triple shooting in the city of Buffalo late Monday night in the first block of Donovan Drive just after 11:00, the latest shooting in what was a deadly weekend.

Police say someone opened fire on a large group of people gathered outside. Three people were hit, including a young child. The child is in critical condition at Oishei Children's Hospital.

The shooting adds to a violent holiday weekend. In total, The Buffalo Police Department is investigating 11 shootings that happened over the holiday weekend. In total, 18 people were struck by gunfire in the shootings.

Now Cuomo crying about all the guns being used in the shootings. How about blaming yourself and the democrats letting all the thugs out of jail running around the city pulling the triggers of the guns that you speak about. why don't you send them back to jail? Unfortunately I believe you are right..it is going to take some DRASTIC ACTION to turn this thing around.. "SAFE"gun laws, throwing taxpayer $$ AT THE "SOCIAL" PROBLEM ISNT THE ANSWER..AND MEANWHILE...more and more innocent children and adults are going to b victims due to some self serving politician looking to be a hero...instead of taking a more meaningful way of stopping this shooting and murder spree!

Many times there are news artiles for some violent crime where the perp has a long rap sheet that should have resulted in them still being in prison at the time the latest crime was committed, thus preventing their latest crime. Someone commits a violent crime with a gun? automatic extra 5 years to the end of their sentence running consecutively to the sentences for all other charges not concurrent.

Hot August day. Buffalo police say a 21-year-old man was hurt in a shooting on French Street, Friday morning.

Investigators say the man was shot multiple times on French Street around 11 a.m. Friday.

The man was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where he's listed in stable condition.
