I don’t think traditional funerals have been allowed. As a Catholic, I know for a fact that funeral masses open to community members are verboten by the Democratic Totalitarian regime in Albany. The Church timidly complied only to have the Democratic Totalitarians extend the law obliterating the statute of limitations for strike suits alleging sexual abuse. They will extend that law from year to year unless enough public school teachers and school districts end up as defendants and NYSUT demands protection.

New York City is establishing its own group of tracers to track Coronavirus cases to control its spread. Right now it’s a dead heat in the race to see which, NYC or NYS, has the most screwed up, confused and least prepared tracing program. The state got off to a strong start in the screw up race, but proving once again that there is no program that he can’t irretrievably ruin, Wilhelm, er, DiBlasio is coming up fast on the outside. Each program is a classic case of the blind leading the infirm.

As more and more information becomes available it becomes increasingly apparent that the turn in the Coronavirus battle came about through the actions of thousands on New Yorkers and had little to do with the actions and inactions of Il Douche. As Cuomo launched the slaughter of thousands across the nursing homes in New York, thousands of New City residents realized that in NYC, the driving force in the death spiral, totally ignored by Cuomo, was the subway system. This was manifested in the 120 or more MTA employees who died from the virus, almost all of them involved in bus and subway service. When Cuomo wasn’t too busy debasing himself on CNN he preached social distancing. But MTA, under his control, took actions that resulted in exactly the opposite. By reducing the number of buses and subway trains, MTA increased the density on those still running and put even more riders at risk. Weeks and weeks before Cuomo got off his ass to do anything about the subway, New Yorkers began to realize that money spent on mass transit was a down payment on a ride in the back of a Hearse. Ridership dropped by 65% over the span of two or so weeks and it was only then that New York began to “flatten the curve”. That was right about the time those antic Cuomo boys were resurrecting the “mom always liked you best” routine that was worn out by the Smothers Brothers 50 years ago.

If you’re an average healthy American and if you live in a state whose Governor is not named Cuomo, your chances of dying from Coronavirus are about 1 in 5,000...about the same as dying in a car accident. If you’re a average healthy American and your governor's name is Cuomo your risk of death from Coronavirus skyrockets to 1 in 300. Thanks for nothing Il Douche.

The three most populous states in the country, California, Texas and Florida, combined have fewer that 1/3 the number of deaths as does New York. Great job, Cuomo.

The rag that calls itself a newspaper rarely comes close to getting a story right but today they hit it right on the head. The story on Cuomo's failure to pay unemployment to the thousands of New Yorkers whose jobs he eliminated established beyond question that politicians are deciding who gets unemployment payments and who doesn't. He’s the most corrupt governor in the history of New York; it’s not even close. And thousands and thousands have died.

It’s hard to measure the incompetence of Cuomo but there are clear indications of exactly how misdirected his actions are. As I’ve said, with Il Douche it’s all about the presser and yesterday he scored points with the idiot crowd by personally calling bars and threatening their liquor licenses. Really?

The governor of a state facing the greatest public health disaster in its history is calling barrooms? Leaving aside the fact that the State Liquor Authority is a few steps below the Mexican police in terms of ethics. I thought that’s what they were there for. Maybe the governor ought to be thinking about the $20 billion deficit he’s created. Just sayin’!

Unable to give up in his efforts to thin the nursing home population in order to reduce Medicaid spending and now unable to import the critically ill into nursing homes to kill patients he attacked from the rear, requiring every nursing home worker to be tested twice a week. This overwhelmed the testing system and made test results so late that they were untimely leaving potentially infected workers in close contact with the at-risk and continuing the dance of death in nursing homes. Finally, he was called out on this as well and limited testing to once a week. The man has to be watched continually.

In Rensselaer County, there’s a county-run nursing home, Van Rensselaer Manor. When Cuomo issued his death warrant to nursing homes on March 25, the Rensselaer County Executive, Steve McLaughlin, ignored the death warrant and directed the nursing not to accept patients with Coronavirus. That nursing home has had no deaths, 0, zippo, nada, since the crisis began. Were McLaughlin governor instead of the nostril man, there might be 6000 New Yorkers still alive to eventually see their families. Hell, if he were governor the disaster in the subways probably would’ve been addressed in March instead of May and another 10,000 New Yorkers would probably be alive.

While Cuomo pretends to act like a tough guy by quarantining people from other state whose infection rates are 1/3 on New York’s under his failed leadership he does not have to explain why New York ranks 48th out of 50 states in the survival rate of those who get Coronavirus. But it does prove how small he really is.

There’s a surge in Florida! There’s a surge in Arizona! There’s a surge in Texas! The death rate in Arizona is 218 per million people. The death rate in Florida is 160 per million people. The death rate in a Texas is 83 per million people. The death rate in New York under Il Douche is 1610 per million people. Really! Do you think a lot of people from Texas, Arizona or Florida are eager to come to New York, knowing those odds? I doubt Il Douche is going to scoop up many in his idiotic sieve-like quarantine. People from those states would be dying to come here. Literally.

Terrified by the bounce back in the employment market and that his efforts to undermine the economy through the use of Coronavirus scare tactics may be failing, the notorious and proven liar, Il Douche is setting the state up for another shut down by claiming that there are increases in the virus. Given his proven manipulation of the numbers this has to be accepted with open skepticism. His effort to quash religious services through illegal differential treatment of them while openly welcoming and encouraging street terrorism has already been rejected by federal courts.

This was on the ecdems facebook page.

“By now, according to Trump officials and sycophants, we were supposed to be seeing a fading pandemic and a roaring recovery.”

“Instead, we have a fading recovery and a roaring pandemic.”

I finally looked at my IRA and it is back to where it was before the virus hit. I'm happy. I also funded more as the market was climbing back up so that did well. We just had a good number of jobs added for June.

The group along with all the board members who support the group need to go peddle their bs in another state.

Don’t forget, Dean Baquet, the editor in chief, of the N.Y. Times, in an op ed piece in 2016, stated openly that reporting facts and the truth was being set aside by the Times in order to defeat Trump. Don’t make the mistake of thinking this is new to the Times. All one need do is go back the 1930’s and read Walter Duranty’s obsequious ass kissing of Stalin in the Times while ignoring the mass murders and show trials.

I Like how some people have been trying to blame the increase in cases in NY on restaurants opening back up
but this whole time they've been saying it taeks a couple weeks for people to show symptoms, and what happened 2-3 weeks before the increase? Not restaurants opening as that just happened, but the protests wera numerous people were in close proximity, shouting (thus spraying saliva droplets into the air), and not wearing masks
Vote for freedom, not political parties.

Sharky you noticed that also? Just like the following day after a Trump rally covid spikes. That must be one fast acting selective virus.
