    New York State...it's gonna hurt.

So like everyone who is not a moronic liberal has been saying for years...the NYS budget is a house of cards. It appears the day of reckoning is right around the corner.

You elected idiots who spent money they didn't have and refused to build a reserve. The BN outlines how bad the picture is.

Now your plan is to go to the Federal government for a bailout. The leadership who is going to be responsible for trying to get this money is your wanna be mafia Gov. who is picking a fight daily with the President and has Fredo working the CNN angle and Shyster Schumer who is going to need to get the Senate to work with him...but after threatening sitting Supreme Court Justices a few weeks ago and generally acting like an assh*le during the impeachment process....Cocaine Mitch is already saying NYS should look at bankruptcy before the expect Federal money.

Right now to everyone who is not a loyal Democrat, the face of that party is Nancy Pelosi and Shyster Schumer....California and New York. The two states that people on the right despise the most and the two states that people are going to oppose the most in getting any sort of bailouts for the state and federal levels.

    Ya'll are f*cked.

I simply can't believe what I have witnessed since I started this message board.

Like 15+ years of paying attention. I simply don't get it. You see the path the State/County/some local towns are on yet we have a political social club that continues to support it all. You all know who I mean. The ecdems.com.

What do they do at organizational meetings?

High five each other when they read $750,000,000 wasted on solar city?

Do they cheer when Mark Poloncarz and others push sanctuary for people here illegally?

Do they all get up and dance every time budgets increase?

And you know what I found horribly weird. When Cuomo and crew were signing that abortion bill and all but one had those weird grins on their faces.

Wait just a second there Bunky! Il Douche is already implementing a plan that will save NYS millions. Something like 60% of nursing home residents in NY are on Medicaid. Nursing home residents are also most at risk from Coronavirus. So Il Douche is requiring that nursing readmit residents with diagnosed cases of Coronavirus. Of course, the virus is sweeping through nursing homes in New York leaving thousands and thousands dead in its wake. If 60% of them are on Medicaid, his plan is saving the state millions! Causing the deaths of thousands of the innocent and helpless to balance the budget. Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Obama are proud.

Tammy Bruce slams Gov. Cuomo for insulting remark about protesters: The curtain was pulled back

Fox News contributor and Fox Nation host Tammy Bruce scorched New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Thursday for saying that protesters calling for the economy to reopen should get jobs as "essential workers."

“He’s been getting a lot of good reviews ... for what he’s been saying on a day-to-day basis as though he’s the second coming in some sense, and that he’s a fabulous person. And I think what’s good on a day-to-day basis is every now and then, you really get to see who people are and the curtain is pulled back,” Bruce told “Fox & Friends.”

Bruce said that the level of contempt for protesters in that statement was “extraordinary.”

“When you say 'protesters,' these were regular citizens, reporters spoke to them, who have run out of money. They’ve lost their businesses, they don’t know what’s coming the next day and he’s speaking to them and treating them as if they’re infants," she argued.

Scurrying to cover his ass in light of another flawed decision in the debacle that has been NYS’s response to Coronavirus, Il Douche is ordering an investigation into why thousands of nursing home residents died from the virus. It should be a short investigation because we already know the answer. His order that placed actively ill victims into residential facilities literally filled wit the most vulnerable among us had the effect that a nine year old could’ve foreseen. Thousands got sick and died needlessly. No matter what God-like pronouncement and orders he may issue, nursing homes simply aren’t acute care facilities. They’re not designed to be and their staff aren’t trained to provide that type of care.

This is all insane. Especially those who think elected officials in NYS are doing an excellent job.

Do we think this will be a wake up call for all government employee across all levels of government? Or do you think they will still want their cake and eat it to? Specially at state level?

The reason Il Douche is pissing his pants over McConnell suggesting that states be allowed to file for bankruptcy is that bankruptcy courts have tremendous power over the bankrupt. Who knows? Some bankruptcy judge might actually investigate Riverbend and start setting aside public employee union contracts to bail out the state and try to end the corruption.

Wasn't Musk supposed to hit a hiring quota at the beginning of April? And wasn't there a 40 million dollar fine if he didn't?

Yes. But that agreement has no process for measuring the number of jobs created so they have to take the pillhead’s word for it. And he can walk away from the deal without paying a nickel if he decides it’s too cloudy in western N.Y. or for just about any other reason.

The problem that Il Duoche and his “Health” Commissioner, Dr. Mengele, er Zucker have with this whole nursing home mess is that every time they tell another lie emails come from all over proving that they’re lying. They claimed that no nursing homes ever asked for relief from the pressure only to have lengthy email chains showing nursing homes begging for relief and asking to transfer infected patients to the Javits Center or the USS Comfort, all of which requests were denied. They begged for more PPE because their staff were making equipment from garbage bags and were rebuffed. And lest there be any doubt whatsoever that Il Douche and Mengele, er Zucker knew the consequences of what they were doing, added to the few supplies they were being given were ample supplies of body bags.

In looking at the shoe shine rag I saw one hopeful note. The long term effect of the virus might cripple the money pit, NFTA. The hopelessly confused boss, Minkel, anticipates a long term decline in ridership. Really? Where ya been for the last 20 years, sweetheart!? Wasn’t it just 2 years ago that NFTA was called out about a 40% ridership decline on the subway that it wasn’t even aware of and that it couldn’t explain. This is an ideal opportunity to eliminate this economic deadweight once and for all.

why would there be such a drop in usage? Population hasn't dropped that much. If a 40% drop in ridership happened if the subway wouldn't buses be busier? People still have things to do and places to go...
