Century-old restaurant in Buffalo opts to accept credit cards

It took the COVID-19 pandemic crisis to do what generations of diners have asked for but have been denied by management of a West Side restaurant.

That is, accept credit cards to pay for meals.

But beginning April 17, Santaserio’s will now accept credit cards, along with cash, when customers order take-out items like the restaurant’s beloved pasta fagioli, spaghetti and ravioli.

The decision was made to make it easier for customers to have curbside pick up for their orders.

I've had their spaghetti and meatballs many times. Occasionally I would see some of our past elected officials chowing down.
