Imagine... Six World Premiere Plays in One Evening only at Alleyway Theatre's 29th Annual One-Act Festival, Buffalo Quickies

Alleyway Theatre will present BUFFALO QUICKIES, the 29th annual celebration of one-act plays. This year's BUFFALO QUICKIES features six plays, six world premieres, five Buffalo playwrights, and the winner of the one act category of the Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition.

BUFFALO QUICKIES runs March 26 - April 11, 2020. Alleyway Theatre is located at 1 Curtain Up Alley in the heart of Buffalo's historic Theatre District.

BUFFALO QUICKIES will feature the work of five Buffalo Playwrights: Mark C. Lloyd, Justin Karcher, Darleen Pickering Hummert, j. Snodgrass and Samantha Marchant. Rounding out the
evening will be the 2019 Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition one act winner, Colorado's Collin I. Hood.

RETURN TO MOTHERíS NEST by Samantha Marchant ─ On Madisonís visit home, Momís usual behavior has quickly become unusual and quick thinking is needed from both.
THREE OR MORE by Collin I. Hood (2019 Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition One Act Winner) In a country whose name you canít remember, Denzel wakes up in a mass grave very much alive.

The Cast and Production Team

BUFFALO QUICKIES will be directed by Joyce Stilson with associate director Robyn Horn, lighting and sets by Neal Radice, and costumes by James Cichocki. The ensemble actors, each
playing multiple roles, are Kate Olena, Sandra Roberts, Matthew Rittler, David C. Mitchell, Smirna Mercedes and Michael Starzynski.
