Anyone!! who is surprised must have their head in the ....sand. There is 5-7 shooting a week in Buffalo...But da Mayor and Police Dept say they're isolated incidents...so maybe we need 2 columns for shootings... 1 for isolated and another for non isolated.
BUT not to worry...all the law abiding LEGAL gun owners have their firearms registered..so the citizens of Buffalo can sleep better... at night
Cuomo and Brown sleep much better knowing they have 24 hr security...so really ..they have little exposure to the reality of the situation!

Who can you blame for this. The population or the police?

There is much blame to spread around...the liberal politicians who allowed the bail reform to take place and interfere with the judges' decision to incarcerate the accused, witnesses who are afraid to come forward, the enforcement
(illegal) of gun laws are not severe enough, and the DEATH PENALTY must be reinstated! a criminal can go out and murder , and get 20 to life, why should the convicted criminal be allowed to live and breath while his/her victim is 6 ft under, not to mention the toll it takes on the victims' family, and that convicted felon could walk the street again someday, being fed and housed at taxpayers expense!

There is nothing new here. Buffalo has been the murder capital of NYS for at 15 years. The goal of the Democratic Totalitarian party is to completely eliminate the enforcement of criminal law against certain politically favored groups.

Has no effect on crime. St. Louis, MO is far more violent than Buffalo, NY and MO has the death penalty.

BUT is sure as hell saves the taxpayers some $$ that could be used for more productive social services , education, and other programs that are sorely needed...no ,matter what a POLL OR STUDY SAYS..Death Penalty is a deterrent, and if someone is bold enough to take the life of another despite the death penalty...they certainly deserve it.
    PERFECT EXAMPLE

This is idiocy. For one thing, thedeathoenalty may well be deterring even more violence in St. Louis. But just because a punishment doesn’t completely eliminate a crime doesn’t mean there should be no punishment. Well, unless you’re a Democratic Totalitarian who wants to eliminate criminal punishment for certain favored ethnic and political groups.
