Why would any town employee want to move from the town they help create and worked for all those years?

Because the Town is located in NY state. Why wouldn’t someone want to move to a safer state , one that doesn’t allow criminals out of jail so they can commit more crimes ?

Well this environment was created by the group who runs the town including the group they support to run NYS for the most part. You brought up bail reform.

Who and which political party pushed for that?

Many of our employees are registered Democrats and even work on the side helping people get elected to our town board. The very same people on the town board who support the party (Cuomo) who gave us the bail reforms. Correct?

If you don't agree with many parts of the agenda we see why the hell are you involved and registered in that party?

Our very own Supervisor Diane is still Vice Chair of the Erie County Democratic party.

Go here if you don't believe me.

In my book that is conflict of interest just like it was a conflict of interest when Frank was Party Chair running the Cheektowaga Democratic Party out of our sanitation department. Decisions may not be made in the best interest of the town but in the best interest of "politics/party". And that's BS. Especially when people are handed a bill to own property in town.

I feel like I'm becoming an ass the older I get

Maybe it's time for our town board to tell Jeremy he better call Cuomo and change the bail reforms otherwise his social club will lose all support. They can all registered in another political party.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the police chief appointed?

For Zack it will be a 6 figure NYS pension combined with a 6 figure paycheck or one hell of a pay raise!

So a new Police Chief will be appointed at the Supervisors sole discretion?

It could be anyone with or without good qualifications.

This may be Diane's biggest decision as a supervisor.
