Erie County Board of Elections faces nearly $2 million budget shortfallhttps://www.wgrz.com/article/news/lo...aAkqKuQLtEQ41YBUFFALO, N.Y. — An apparent breakdown in Erie County’s budgeting process has led to a $2 million dollar budget shortfall at its Board of Elections. The Board of Elections, similar to other county agencies, was supposed to submit a budget request back in August, so that it could be reviewed by the county’s Division of Budget and included in the County Executive’s 2020 budget proposal.
WHy would anyone property/business owner want to take recommendations from either of these groups if they can't even manage their own affairs running the board of elections?According to elections commissioners Ralph Mohr and Jeremy Zellner, members of their staff, including those who normally prepare the department’s budget, were so busy gearing up for early voting for the first time, that preparation of the department’s spending request “slipped through the cracks”.

Just wait. That idiot Zellner wants to throw his hat in the ring for Shimminger's seat. No, just no.
