    Public shaming

On one of the social networks, a Lancaster resident posted a video of someone letting their dog
crap in the poster's yard without cleaning it up. The poster's wife came home from grocery shopping
and stepped in the poop while unloading groceries. That is what I assume prompted the poster to look
    at his surveillance video.

There are posters complaining that it's public shaming by posting the video.

Personally, I'd probably do the same thing.

Do you think it was wrong to post the video?

If the dog intruded onto the homeowner's property, how can the subject of the video expect a "zone of privacy?"

As I see it, the homeowner's conduct is making a statement about someone applying disrespect to its property, and the message conveyed by the video speaks for itself.

That would have made a good video

My feelings are the couple let the dog take a dump without cleaning it up.
That violates the Village of Lancaster code. So, I'd say the video is evidence to that fact.

I've had someone leave the bag of poop in my yard lately.

Just not that Gorja, but how about consideration for the possible pets of the homeowner?

What of the transmission of contagious viruses such as Parvo and parasitic organisms?

    Disgraceful!

    No
A little public humiliation can sometimes do a lot to correct bad behavior.

On Rowley we had a woman that would bag up the poop and toss it. I didn't believe my other 1/2 until I witnessed this myself.
