    No.

All I have heard from clients in the lancaster area is that the taxes are out of control. If the superivisor runs a costly "service business" who's cost continuely rise on the residents it's time to let the door hit him on the ass.

Same issue with Cheektowaga and surrounding areas.

    Uncontrolled growth and “cumulative impacts”

As reported in today’s Buffalo News:

“For the past few decades, the Town of Lancaster has been a boomtown. Since the late 1970s, about 5,300 new homes have either been built or approved for construction.

Correspondingly, the strain on water, sewers and town roads has grown, and an increasing number of residents have become aggressively antagonistic toward housing growth.

As a result, some town leaders have become reluctant to fast-track more new construction. The last two large-scale subdivisions proposed in Lancaster have met with controversy.

Town Board and Planning Board members have grilled Tuyn and other representatives on issues related to flooding and traffic. In the end, they decided to wait on an independent, townwide traffic study that could set back groundbreaking by a year.
"Frankly, in many areas, we are looking at less prime areas to develop," Keysa said. "So we have to be more cautious."

On top of that, some Town Board members have become increasingly concerned about the cumulative impact of new developments. Councilman Daniel Amatura said his attitude toward developers has changed considerably over the past three years.
"We take everything they give us as the golden rule," he said. "But are there really no problems? I think we need to do more work internally to make sure we do what is right for the town."

Town residents have played a major role in the changing attitude of local leaders in recent years. Many have been vocal about wanting to see development slowed and more carefully studied or stopped altogether.”

Cumulative impacts, my, my! Someone on the Town and Planning Boards are listening to the residents. That someone doesn’t include Supervisor Robert Giza. This is the “leader” who has said on numerous occasions that there are no flooding and drainage issues in town, no traffic or traffic safety issues, no water delivery or water pressure issues in town (especially to fight fires), etc.

It’s time for change at the top! Time to stop developer favoritism and their best interests over that of the community. Time for reform in Lancaster!

The guy lives on at a corner house from the local street where I live on is. His house is actually in Depew if the Lancaster boundry marker is at the right spot. Every holloween I think to myself about painting an orange and purple beard on his stone lions on either side of hsi driveway but he never bothered me personally so I never did do it.

Since you live there, one would've thought that you would've known that a good portion of The Village of Depew (east of Transit) is in the Town of Lancaster.

NEWSFLASH: You may also live in Lancaster.

We asked Terry McCracken and he told us Giza was interested in running again, but it was up to the committee to decide.
