Understand Republican Council candidate Bruce Stutz also lost the conservative ballot line. Who won?

Wow, LOVE it. Is it really true?
Kept looking on the elections site today for an official result after the count on Wednesday.
i'm surprised none of the party chairs posted the results here.

No whining, it's a four quarter game.

I wholeheartedly thank you Breezy for posting this thread as if the results were different
others would have had a posting regarding the results.

Myself, being out of the loop, I really do APPRECIATE you communicating this info.

Again, as with the town clerk results for the Republican and Democratic parties after the June 25 primary,
I wonder if the Conservative party will be supporting the voter's choice.

Really, what kind of a primary election season has this town had this year?

Endorsed Democratic town clerk candidate loses
Endorsed Republican town clerk candidate loses
    Endorsed Conservative supervisor candidate loses

I can't wait to see what Lee sees in his BS meter down the road

The Lancaster/Cheektowaga Conservative party Facebook page
stated, "The Conservative Party will continue to support Dawn" not the will of the voters

When I had read this on another thread, I assumed there was no write-ins since the post was so definitive about the wins.
All of the Republican-endorsed Town Council candidates, and the Erie County Legislature candidate, emerged in a strong position for the general election. All of those candidates have secured the the Conservative line for the fall election, and that is something that the deposed Republican leadership has frequently struggled with.
Two posts after that one, I wrote,
There was no write-ins, this year, eh?
With no response, I still assumed there was no write-ins, as the former post had stated those
candidates had secured the Conservative line

That comment was based on my best information at the time Gorja. My bad, I guess, but throughout, the counting process, as I understood it, was rather dynamic.

I was the ignorant one. usually, at that time someone will state that the write-in votes needed to be counted.
I believe Lee did mention absentee and write-in votes much later.

So, this was a BIG pleasant surprise for me. I will never forget for the future years
that the primary really isn't over until the fat lady sings. La la la la

Just kind of a weird election Gorja.

Gaczewski, I think won the absentee ballots. It was the number of writes which threw me.

But, as I said previously, fasten your seat belt.

So, Robert, as a political operative you have an inside track to glean information from the BOE. So:

By how many votes did Ruffino win the Conservative line for Supervisor?

By how many votes did Mazur and Leary win the Town Council line?

    How did Terranova do?

Isn’t it true that the conservatives were disappointed by the outcome because they underestimated the write-in count? When in fact, there were 2/3rds more write-in- counts than they were led to believe there was?

As a ‘blank’ I can wait until Monday for the final counts. Outside of the lying, exaggerations, machinations by some of the players, a primary holds no interest for me. The real game starts Monday.

Outside of Terranova, I have no dog in the race -yet! I am amused by Gorga’s constant reference to Conservative Party Chair Gallo’s statement in 2015 when Gaczewski was running for town council on the Democratic line: “To be frank, we can’t afford a Town Council with Dawn Gaczewski on it.”

How quick we are willing to forget the millions of dollars the town lost under the 15-years of service and management by born-again fiscal conservative Ruffino. Can a leopard change its spots?

Didn’t both Gaczewski and Walters approach the Republican Party Committee first to run on their lines but were told the slots were already filled. Wanting to serve the town didn’t they then approach the Democratic Party Committee for endorsement and got it because that party then was bankrupt for candidates?

Shouldn’t we be looking at ‘what can you do for our community today’ and choosing the best candidate on facts and proposed issue solving? Otherwise, is there a candidate worthy enough for our consideration? Screw the party affiliation claptrap!

From all the chicanery that took place in the primary, this upcoming campaign promises to be revolting – filled with lies, mean-spirited guilt-by-association allegations, character assassinations and all the deceit that makes politics what it is today.
