    Clerk "Wars."

Would someone please tell Ms. Terranova's opponent(s) that the elected Town Clerk represents no constituency, and that the Town Clerk's duty is to serve the entity of the town and its people?

In fact, in the attached letter, Ms. Maciejewski accurately described her OWN previous, lesser in scope, but similar in some functions, experience as a Clerk(s)...

"I have served the Town Planning Board as well as the Village of Lancaster Town Planning Commission as their clerk.
So, why in the very same letter, attached below, does she...

    "...promise to represent you..."
    ...as Town Clerk?

Is "Clueless" a contagious state of mind?

    ""...promise to represent you..."
This is why for a position like this I'd rather just see someone hired from a professional employment agency with a the correct skill set that a town "clerk" would require.

This goes for all supervisory positions like highway, sanitation and so on.

There really is no "representation of the property owners" in those positions in my opinion. You do the job or your don't do the job.

    Res,

I simply do not understand this entire "represent" and in the very recent past, "advocacy" business in connection with a service office.

If elected, her conduct and accomplishments as Town Clerk would be evaluated against the required duties and standards prescribed by statute, and that evaluation would strictly reflect her specific competence. It simply would not be representative of the people who elected her, or the town that she would serve.

    Just my opinion.

Just another unqualified candidate with no chance in hell of winning.

I'm shocked that you as a blank receive Republican and Democratic mailers.

As a registered Democrat, I received none

I received nothing, but I do have a number, in fact too many, of family members that are Democrats that share.

I always reach that conclusion the day after election day.

As I previously stated, I have family members, still inclusive of a dead mother, that provide the mailers, and perhaps some that provide inside information too.

Does your mom still get an absentee ballot?

Don't you really feel that the whole Board of Elections needs an overhaul?
