The script can be enlarged. The mailer should be read as it covers much of everything you and I have been saying.
It was a bold move by Sojka and a good move as both the few disgruntled Republicans and the Democratic Committee have to realize that they f***ed up! Terranova by far is the most qualified candidate for the Town Clerk's office and is deserving of being re-elected..
I'll try this -
In my view, the first message by Diane is a positive message.
It's too bad, the Sojka message was a negative message.
I would have loved to see a totally positive campaign flyer.

I'm hard-pressed to see negativity in the message Gorja, but I guess it's in the eye of the beholder.
Bear in mind, this is an informational message to Republican Primary voters, which explains why Ms. Terranova was selected, how her selection is consistent with Republican values, and suggests the perceived reasons for the Desiderio challenge to Ms. Diane.
In light of the disgusting "Terranova Tax" mis-characteriztion, I believe an explanation of the perceived motive for Desiderio's candidacy is not only fair, but necessary. The Republicans voters are certainly entitled to read the Republican Committee's perspective.
All-in-all, I thought Sojka's message was supportive of the Republican candidate, measured, appropriate, and "Spot On!"
Just sayin'.

That's very true. Bear in mind, anyone with a lick of sense wouldn't vote for Dizzy Desi.Bear in mind, this is an informational message to Republican Primary voters, which explains why Ms. Terranova was selected, how her selection is consistent with Republican values, and suggests the perceived reasons for the Desiderio challenge to Ms. Diane.

Gorja, what was missing in Sojka’s message was the important descriptive word ‘new’ in referencing the Republican Committee under new leadership. The committee chose who it thought was the most qualified candidate, not by party affiliation.
You were unfairly attacked on another thread because you alluded to a letter that was submitted by the Conservative Party regarding Dawn Gaczewski when she gained the Conservative Party line and was running as a Democrat for council in 2015. The letter, written by the Conservative Committee Chair, refuted Gaczewski’s conservative credentials and spoke of her ‘stealing’ the ballot line. You have every right to question how she was rebuked in 2015 but now found acceptable to the Republican and Conservative Parties.
As a ‘blank’, party affiliation means nothing to me, especially when in my mind the most qualified candidate is chosen by whatever party. It will be Gaczewski vs. Ruffino in the November election. It will be up to Gaczewski to establish her conservative roots and up to Ruffino to prove he has done a 180 and is now a fiscal conservative when past history showed otherwise..
Received this mailer today -
Love it. Isn't that the supervisor's dog? Cute
No political party mentioned.

Thanks for posting Gorja. Your skills in operating this system far surpass my own.
