O’Reilly made it clear he did not want to play here. What would you have done differently? Skinner scored 40 goals. Would you not have paid him? What what you do to replace his scoring? Were you confident at New Years that the Blues were going to win the Cup? If so you were the only one. O’ Reilly had good numbers here like he did in Colorado but his teams always seem to finish poorly and at New a Year it sure looked like the Blues were headed that way. I posted about it back then. That turn around was a once in a generation type thing and the organization deserves a lot of credit. 10-3 on the road in the playoffs is pretty remarkable. The Sabes never should’ve tanked. What makes anyone think that a commitment to losing is a good thing?! Bringing back Ted Nolan, quite possibly the worst coach in NHL history, was a finger in the eye of season ticket holders and fans generally. It sent the message to the entire league that they were gonna serve a plate of **** on the ice for all to enjoy.

skinner did nothing at the end of the season. like jack hot and cold. blues sucked at the midpoint but turned it around and win their first cup. still waiting here.
Sabres doing good at the start then tanked. Teddy was not the answer. You have a few things going here the two owners have no clue, the kid GM is lost he needs to go. another failed draft most of them will be in the minors for a few years.
The 2019 NHL Draft has come and gone. Overall, the Sabres didn’t make that much of a splash. No roster players were traded from Buffalo, and the only deals the team made during the draft weekend involved picks.
