    cognitive dissonance

    cognitive dissonance
    n. Psychology
A condition of conflict or anxiety resulting from inconsistency between one's beliefs and one's actions

I strongly suggest listening to the following audio shows:

Very technical details on legalisms, our 'rights', the constitution, bankers, the federal reserve, methods of control, and much more.

Often times the result of cognitive dissonance is the escalation of committment syndrome.
    The path is clear
    Though no eyes can see
The course laid down long before.
And so with gods and men
The sheep remain inside their pen,
Though many times they've seen the way to leave.
