Domagalski to resign as GOP chief, will run for State Senate

James P. Domagalski, who has guided the Erie County GOP to several high-profile victories during his four years as chairman, will resign his party post this week and run for the State Senate vacancy created by incumbent Dale M. Volker's decision not to seek re-election.
