Everybody Panic New York is Losing Population

I wanted to see what Alan was posting lately....

Everybody Panic New York is Losing Population

We lost a net 48,500 people over the course of one calendar year.

Eva Hassettalso interesting that NYS is 4th highest in terms of in-migration of immigrants, without which population would decline faster. So then why isn't Unshackle more vocally pro-immigrant?
For the most part are the current crop of incoming immigrants financially stable? From what I think I have been reading is that many of the refugees tend to require some form of support. Once the initial support runs out, depending on their income level there may be more support programs available. Right or wrong?

I wanted to respond to Eva Hassett's comment with...

Because for the most part people are not pro-welfare for the incoming group of immigrants.

I not panicking. This means that New York becomes less and less influential nationally. That’s good for America. To aid in the outflow Southwest is starting direct nonstop service from here to Nashville.

The pundit should be jumping for joy to learn that AllianceBernstein is transferring over 1000 jobs from Manhattan to Nashville. He can replace them with a couple thousand Ethiopians. The Democratic Totalitarian Party won’t have to feed them because they’re used to starving and that bunch from AllianceBernstein were probably Jews anyway. The Democratic Totalitarian Party has made clear how they feel about them.
