    Lancaster school taxes Cheektowaga

    Can anyone tell me why taxes are going down in Cheektowaga when they had no change in there assessments.

    So you live on the border? The school tax, we have been debating that issue, I think it's questionable right now.

    Taxes are not going down in the Town of Cheektowaga! Where did you see that the taxes in Cheektowaga are going down? The title of the thread also has Lancaster school in it. The Lancaster school tax is not supposed to go down either. Can you give us some more information?

    The Lancaster BOE said that Cheektowaga and Elma would see tax decreases because they were not impacted by the Lancaster reval and the new tax rate is lower than lat year's.
