New approach to planding board seat...

With the current opening in the town planning board...maybe, just maybe the town could take the opportunity to approach a change in course from the status quo the town currently is in...Isn’t it about time that a new board member express a desire to make sure that the town complies with existing laws concerning the Americans with Disabilities Act...the town is falling behind every day with complying with this act...every new subdivision fails to comply...The town and planning boards need to step up to the plate and make sure that contractors comply or they don’t build...I would hope that a new planning board member would prioritize this issue and put it at the top of the list...

    Ada

I contacted ADA offices in Texas...they went to satellite over St Anthony and Rose Streets ...the live feed while I was on the phone cited at least 15 violations of ADA regulations...She also told me there could be more than that because of snow on the ground covered areas of concern...most of the violations were curb cuts, no sidewalks and crosswalks...more than a sizeable obstruction to a handicapped individual ....I hardly think that Rose and St Anthony are the exception and not the rule...Hope this helped...
