Outragious? It's called the free market.
I wonder why Illuzi defended the political IP party. Could it be they pay to be on the site?
There has been a great deal of discussion on this T&T event. I feel our discussion may have weaken the power of the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the IP. I plan now to take a closer look at the Conserative Party.

I believe Joe Illuzzi attacked Bob McCarthy's article because one of his employees was the editor of this IP magazine. Mr.Orsini's fundraiser April 6 is going to be a stong measure tool to see how much of is power has been eroded. How many top people from the other partys will attend? Tom is having a very hard time selling ads for their next IP Newsletter. I wouldn't be surprise if there wasn't a third issues.
I wonder how they http://www.ipny.org/ handle thier news letter issues.
A little birdy said to turn into channel 2 for the next few days.
That wasn't a birdie, that was Chris Drongosky. He's the one behind this from the start. Mr Tricoli just wont admit it. He wont deny it but he wont admit it either.
When Tricoli keeps his mouth shut about something, it speaks volumes.

Mr. Oakley, sir I truly don't understand stand what I'm suppose to behindoff. If you could define what you mean I gladly answer your question. Have a nice night and a good day Tuesday.
I think what he's saying is that you (Ain't That The Truth) must be getting your information/tips from someone. The most logical source for this particular matter is Chris Dragonsky. On the surface, at least, I couldn't disagree.Originally posted by AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH

I guess the direct question would be: Who is/was it that supplied you with the initial (and ongoing) background and information about the alleged misappropriation of newsletter-related monies? Who?
Obviously, dependent upon who is providing the information, you could unknowingly be "behind" some political strategy/movement on behalf of others.
Actually, I don't really care from where you get your information.. as long as it's accurate and presented in a responsible manner (both of which are at this point still undetermined).
My sources are people who are involed with this affair from inside the political world as well as people inside of the making of these newsletters. People who work at casinos, hotels and bars. Mainly digging thru papers and records.
Behindof?
Don't use foreign language with me!

Your respect for the anonymity of your sources is admirable. I can understand that. However, along with the right to keep your source(s) anonymous comes the obligation to accept and understand that readers have the right to question the (ultimate/underlying) motives of the anonymous sources. You cannot have one without the other. From where I sit, most times the release of stories like this are driven not by some honorable desire to serve the public/residents/taxpayers. Rather, they are highly charged by the desire of a few aggressive political types that aspire to take over or fall into control & power. So they are no more ethical (IMO) than those they complain about.Originally posted by AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH

Ain't That The Truth's motives may never be known either.
The important point in this discussion - at least for me - is that the Erie County Independence Party is the subject of substantial questionable behavior. Orsini's comment(s) in Sunday's Buffalo News implying that he's proud of his behavior bothers me. As a leader, he should be more than willing to fully explain every last detail. Instead, all I walked away with from his comments was: I'm proud of my behavior. Pretty much thumbing his nose at the world.
That is NOT the type of political leadership I could ever support or respect.

What is this issue you have about Jim? All he does is seem to look out for the tax payer and you complain about him. Lets say he's 80% right, that's better than a politician that is in-effective 80% of the time, or a politician that votes only for thier campaign contributors 90% of the time.
Is it that the people he finds up to something are you friends and you don't like thier actions made public?
I think we have to give credit where credit is due.
Mr. Tricoli is obviously on to something.
While his methods may be questionable, there's no reason to badger him about his sources now.
Lemme see now. Everyone who disagrees with Ain't has a dishonorable motive. I disagree with ain't therefore my motives are suspect. My disagreement with Ain't is not quite so surreptitious. Ain't is reckless in his accusations. Before casting aspergions on the character of anyone Ain't should have all the facts ie he claims the IP leaders filled their pockets with 10s of thousands of dollars that belonged to the IP party. Where is his audit statement to prove that. He claims that an ad in the Newsletter cost 3500.00. Who paid that amount? It just goes on and on.
Now he's going after the Conservative party?
Give me a break!
Ain't is the kind of person who used to get his jollies by writing on the bathroom walls.
